XCSoar

XCSoar is a tactical glide computer for the Pocket PC operating system.

This project aims to port XCSoar to Linux (including Android and MeeGo). This is a rather big task, because the existing code base uses proprietary Microsoft Windows APIs.

I'm also working with the development team on the upcoming XCSoar 6.0. You can download pre-release builds on this site, see below.

Contributing

XCSoar is a free software project, run by many volunteers in their free time. We need help:

• Development: can you speak C++? Get the source code, hack it, and submit your patches.
• Testing: download one of my development builds, test it, and report bugs.
• Documentation: we need an editor for the XCSoar manual. It is outdated, and needs some care.
• Translation: check our Launchpad page if you want to help.
